基于对教学内容和学情的分析,本课确立了以下教学目标和教学重难点:
(一)教学目标
语言能力目标:
(1) 学生能使用If引导的条件状语从句来做出假设,并用“Will”来预言结果;能用句型“You should/ You’d better…”来提出建议。
(2)能用适当的过渡词来衔接上下句。
(3)学生能用以上句型结构和写作结构完成一篇作文。
文化意识目标:树立对困难的正确态度,形成与人沟通,寻求帮助,解决问题的意识与战胜问题的坚毅品格。
思维品质目标:学生通过沟通交流,发现问题,思考问题,解决问题来提高发散性思维,批判性思维,创造性思维的能力。
学习能力目标:对英文写作感兴趣,能自主运用写作策略,写作结构,完成写作任务,提高写作水平。
(二)教学重难点:
学生能用所学语言知识和写作结构写作文,描述问题并提出解决方法或建议。
四、教学过程设计
ⅠPre-writing
课前教师说明上课要求,即学生回答问题要loudly and clearly。共分三组,方便后续课堂活动。
Step?1 Sing a song (2分钟)
T: How are you today? Ss: I’m good/just so so/bad.
T: That’s great/I’m sorry to hear that. If you’re happy or if you’re sad, why not sing a happy song together? 教师和学生一起边打节拍边唱歌曲“If you’re happy.”
【设计意图】通过一首学生们熟悉的歌曲,教师很快带着学生热身,在活跃课堂气氛的同时,歌曲本身就是对If引导的条件句的很好复习。2分钟的时间就可以很好地导入新课了。
Step2 Listening to a WeChat conversation(3分钟)
T:As for me, I feel unhappy and terrible recently. Do you know why? …. You can guess from the picture.
Ss: Maybe you can’t fall asleep?
