（一） Lead-in : Show a small movie to Ss, there is a cat and a mouse talking. Let Ss watch carefully, and then answer the questions.

Ask: The cat said: “?”…….

Ss answer: 1) I’m bigger than you.

2) I’m taller than you.

3) I’m stronger than you.

4) I run faster than you .

（二） Presentation1 :

1) Show Picture1, there is a big cat and a small mouse.

and give a sentence: The cat is bigger than the mouse.

then, let Ss say out another similar sentence one by one.

eg. The cat is taller than the mouse.

The mouse is smaller than the cat.

…...

2) Show Picture2 to Ss.

and let Ss try to give out the sentence:

The dog is bigger than the cat .

and some more similar sentences

eg. The cat is shorter than the dog.

The dog is heavier than the cat.

……

3) Point 1 将二者进行比较时，用比较级。标志词：than

将三者或三者以上进行比较时，用最高级。

最高级句中常有一个表范围的介词of或in的短语。

区别在于： of 后接表示一群人或事物的代词或名词；

in 后接一个单位或场所的名词。
