【设计思路】
基于以上分析，总的思路是根据学生实际情况，遵循学生身心发展的普遍规律，按照学生认知水平和能力，从学生实际生活经验出发，由易到难，逐级铺设台阶，合理使用教材、安排教学内容，注重学生学习英语的过程，强调学以致用，通过设置真实情境，在课堂上为学生架起课堂与实际生活的“桥梁”，即我在教学过程中必须围绕特定的交际目的和语言项目，设计出可操作性强的、任务化的，在保持学生学习兴趣的同时，提高课堂学习的效率。本节课突出学生为主体的教学活动，使学生通过多种课堂学习方式，运用一定阅读策略，如快速阅读寻找段落大意，及根据时间副词帮助理解事件发展经过，从而最终完成系统的任务链，达到学习语言和掌握语言的目的。
教学目标(内容框架)Ⅰ、Analysis of the teaching materials
This lesson is mainly about Aron Ralston –He lost his arm but is still climbing. This is a moving story, so it’s easy to arouse students’ interest. As we all know, interest is the best teacher for students.
With the help of reading, grasp the methods of reading, try to match the main ideas with their meanings and understand the meanings of new words from the context.

Aron tells of the importance of making good decisions, and of being in control of one’s life.
