学情分析

第一单元的话题主要围绕着问题而展开,本单元的话题主要围绕着提供帮助而展开。这使得教学的过渡非常自然,上单元学习了用should表建议。本单元则学习用could表建议的用法,这便于学生对二者进行对比和归类,其中所涉及到的动词短语是学生之前已经接触过的,学生并不会觉得陌生,重点要将这些短语进行记忆和运用,并启发学生进行思考和总结,将其系统化,并在口语练习中将其运用起来,同时,引导学生对于公益和慈善事业的关注,使其获得情感和价值观上的成长。

Step 1 Warming up

Step2、 Revision

出示一位老人倒在地上的图片,引导学生复习第一单元的相关内容,并对学生进行情感教育,导入第二单元的内容。

T: Look,we can see an old man lying on the road.There is something wrong with him .Does he have a headache/ a sore throat ?

What’s the matter with him ?

What should we do ?

T: We could do a lot of things to help people in need. (出示句子,对学生进行情感教育) Everyone needs help, everyone could help.Let’s help each other to make the world more beautiful.

Step3 Discussion

1.(出示1a主题图)Look at the ways you could help others. 教师引导学生观察并板书这些句子。

师生口语交流对话:What could you do if you are a volunteer today?

Can you come up with other ways you could do to help people ?

Discuss with your partners and write down the ways you come up with.

2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the ways they could help others:

3. Ask some students to tell other students the ways they write down.

Step 4 Listening 1b

1. Make the students understand the meaning of 1b.

2. Play the recording for two times. The first time, only listen .The second time,listen and number the ways.

3、Check the answer .(Key: 3, 2, 4, 1)

Let Ss read the conversation .

A: I hope to work outside.

B: You could help to clean up the city parks.
