Step 2 Presentation
Look at the screen, let’s talk about the infinitive in grammar. Then do some exercises about the infinitive.
Step 3 Grammar Focus
Complete the sentences, and try to find out the infinitives. Then tell which usage each them belongs to.
Step 4 Practice 4a
Can you remember the phrasal verbs we learned last lesson? Now translate the following into Chinese.
put up, hand out, call up, cheer up, come up with, give out, put off,
Fill in the blanks with the phrasal verbs in the box in 4a.
Check the students’ answers.
Make their own sentences with these phrasal verbs.
Step 5 Practice 4b
Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in the box in 4b.
