Step 1 Revision
Show a picture of Lei Feng,let Ss discuss what to do on Lei Feng Day .At the same time ,educate Ss to be a volunteer like Lei Feng .
Step 2 Presentation
1 . Teach Grammar Focus.
First ,ask Ss to read the sentences in the chart .Then let them pay attention to “to-infinitives” .
2 . Teach Ss the use of “to-infinitives” from PPT.
Step 3 practice
1 . Teach Activity 4a.
First , ask Ss to read the phrasal verbs in the box . Then , ask them to complete the sentences using these phrases individually .Give them two minutes to do this task. Finally , invite four students to present their answers . One for each sentence.
2 . Teach Activity 4b.
Give Ss three minutes to complete the passage . As they work , move around the room cheching the progress . Finally ,invite a volunteer to read his or her complete passage . Ask other students to check the answers and correct mistakes if any .
