八年级学生处于青春期转型时期,也是学习成绩两级分化最明显的时期,,他们也具备了一定的英语基础和基本技能,掌握了一定的阅读策略。他们对于做家务的话题比较熟悉,但是用英语表述还存在困难。本课时要求学生读懂文章,体会做家务的重要性。但学生对新课的学习方法的掌握还不够好。预习任务:查阅相关的书籍和字典,收集各种有关家务的英语表达法;熟记本课时出现的新的词汇;阅读本节课要学的文章,了解大意。四、教学过程(设计本课的学习环节,明确各环节的子目标,画出流程图)
Step 1: Warming-up

Step 2: Presentation
1 .Teach the use of these words and phrases in some situations.

Lead into the passage.
T: I think you should do your homework or help your parents do some housework

Step 3 Reading
1. Read the passage quickly and answer this question.

2. Read the passage again and tell True or False.
3. Read the story more carefully and answer the questions(3a).
Step 4 Practice
1. Read the story again and read the sentences below. Underline the sentences from the
reading that mean the same thing(3b)
.2. Decide whether the underlined words in the sentences are verbs or nouns. Then write
another sentence using the underlined word in the other form(3c).
Step 5 Writing
