教学过程(Teaching Procedures)
Step1. Warming-up (Lead in)
Read the words and expressions of Unit 3 on Page 116 .
Get the students to read the conversation (2d) aloud on Page 18.
Get the students to read the key phrases aloud in 2d .
T: Which sentences make polite requests or ask for permission in 2d ?
T: Can you say some other sentences for making polite requests or asking for permission ?
Step2. Before reading (3a P19)
T: Who’d like to predict the answers ? Just look at the picture and answer the questions .
1. Was the house clean and tidy , or was it a mess ?
2. What would you do if your house is a mess like this ?
3. Why was Nancy’s mother angry with her ?
4. Did they solve the problem ? How ?
Step3. First reading
First predict , then look through the passage to get the answers .
Check the answers and find out where to get them in the passage .
Step 4. Second reading
Listen to the tape and learn more about the story . While you are listening , if you have any questions or problems , please under them or circle them .
Let a number of students read one paragraph each time and come up with questions .
