Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Leading (revision)
TQ:Could you please clean the classroom at noon?
SA:sure/of course/no problem......
Then ask students to make conversations and finish exercise.
Step 2 Presentation
Show what students will study in class(show teaching aims)
Discussion:
1. Do you help your parents do the chores at home?
2. Do you ask your parents’ permission for?
3. Do your parents ask you to do some things for them?
2.Teach activity 1a
Let students know what they should do in this part. Say, look at items on the list. Some of these things only parents usually ask and some of them only teenagers usually ask. Ask students to complete the writing on their own books. Remind the students to write “parents” after each item parents ask teenagers to do, and write “teenagers” after each item teenagers ask their parents to do.
Step 3 Practice (group work)
This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.
Give them some minutes, and then ask students to present their own conversations in front of class.
Step 4 listening
Teach activity 1c and activity 1d
Read the instructions. Point to the items in 1a. Say, listen to the conversation between Sandy and her mom. Please check each item they talked about.
Then play the recording again. Let students finish this part. Then correct the answers.
Step 5 Pair work
If this evening is somebody’s birthday party ,you can ask your partner to help you do following things(P21-1e)
Step 6 Consolidation
