Step 1 Warming-up
(1) Share the video,talk about Cinderella .Ask SS some questions.
A: What chores does he/she do every day?
B: He/She… every day.
(2)Study new phrase and Play a game。
Step 2 Presentation
1.Show more pictures on the screen about different kinds of chores..(do the dishes,fold the clothes,clean the living room,make the bed,sweep the floor, wash the car, take out the rubbish ,etc.) and pratice 1a.
2. Do some exercise about phrase.
3.Tell them,”I think it is a little hot in our classroom and I want to ask someone to open the window. What can I say?”Guide them different ways of saying.Help them to make polite requests by using target language .
“Could you please…?”or “Could you please not ...? ”
