学生七年级下册就学过现在进行时,并掌握如何使用现在进行时来描述日常活动,而且掌握了一些日常活动的短语,有利于他们学习过去进行时.
五,教学过程:.
Step 1.热身活动: 谈论人们正在做什么。What are the people doing in the picture?
Step 2.借助学生图片引出过去进行时态结构:was / were+ v. -ing句型. What was he doing at 8:00 o’clock last night? He was writing. What were they doing at ten o’clock yesterday morning? They were reading. What were they doing at ten o’clock yesterday morning? They were running.
Step 3.总结过去进行时的概念和用法。
(1)概念: 表示过去某一时刻或某段时间内正在进行的动作。
(2)构成: was/were + v-ing
(3)说明:第一人称用was ,其他人称用were.
(4)用法: 表示过去某一时刻或过去一段时间正进行的行为, 常见的时间状语有: at 8 last night, at 5 yesterday afternoon, at that time,
at the time of… 等. 另外还有when+一般过去时的时间状语从句。
e.g. What were you doing at 10 yesterday morning?
I was writing a letter to my father at that time.
