Step 1 Greeting
Greet the class as usual
Step 2 Warming up
Show a short story about the QingMing Festival on the screen, the students read with teacher.
Step 3 New words review
1)Show the new words in this part on the screen and make the students read and say the meaning;
2)Word magic
Students work in groups to read and say the meaning of the words as quickly as they can.
Step 4 Lead -in
Review somethings happened on QingMing Festival and write somethings on the blackboard. Then ask the students “How about you; write down” Where were you during the QingMing Festival?
Some students answer it.
Step 5 work on 1a
First, play a short video about rainstorm to make them go into the environment of rainstorm.
Then, lead the students to have a look at the pictures and make them describe them .
Next ,show the correct description and make the students read them as well finish the task.
Finally, check the answers.
