三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up：A game--Touch your body!
Step 2 Leading in
According to the picture on the Bb, ask Ss why he is unhappy and let them guess.
Step 3 Learning and practicing
1. Show Ss some pictures and introduce some problems they may meet in their daily life.
2．Let the students read the sentences aloud. Ask them to discuss which problem they think is the most serious one? Which one is not?
3. Ask students to work in pairs. Discuss their own problems.
Step 4 Listening
Page 25，1b
1．Play the tape and ask the students to listen and circle the problems they hear in 1a.
2．Listen again and repeat them.
Page 26，2a&2b
1．Play the recording for the first time.
Peter's friend is giving him advice. Fill in the blanks with “could” or “should”．
2．Check the answers.
3．Play the recording for the second time and ask the students to answer：
Why doesn't Peter like his friend's advice？
Before listening, students can make prediction about answers.
Write the letters(a－e)next to the advice in 2a.
