学情分析
我教的班级学生整体处于中等偏下水平,学生英语基础较差,英语综合能力较弱,学生间英语水平及学习能力差距较大,所以我在教学的过程中尽量设计难度水平较低的活动让大部分学生都参与进来。八年级下学期是学生提高语言水平及语言整体素质的关键期,学生已经有了一定的词汇量及语言基础,因此老师应尽量设计内容丰富,形式多样的活动来激发学生的学习兴趣及积极性,从而提高学生的语言运用能力及素质。
三、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 掌握下列生词: date, tower, at first, realize, truth
2) 语法:过去进行时
3)能运用过去进行时态描写过去发生的事情。
2. 教学难点:
when, while引导的时间状语从句中的过去时和过去进行时。
四、教学过程
I. Warming-up
1. Greet students as usual and tell students that there is a group competition in which the winner group can get the gift.
2. Ask students to look at the pictures and tell what the people in the pictures were doing when the rainstorm came.
II. Practice
Show some pictures and tell the students to observe the pictures.
Use when and while to describe the pictures.
III. Pre-listening
1. Teacher tells a story about missing a concert.
2. Introduce the topic of the listening materials.
IV. While-listening
1. Finish 1b. Listen and write short answers to the questions.
2. Finish 1c. Listen again. Number the events [1-6] in the order they happened.
3. Listen again and fill in the blanks.
V. Post-listening
Show some pictures about missing the movie Avengers 3.
Your friends asked you to watch the movie Avengers 3 together. But you couldn't go and missed the movie. Why?
