Task 1: Look!
Today we'll learn how to write a composition about seasons according to a certain structure.Ask students to look at the screen.Show them some pictures about different seasons,then ask them to write a short passage—My favorite season.(Give them several minutes to finish it.)
设计意图: 进行审题思路点拨,让学生分别从观点、季节、活动、感受、时态、人称、字数等方面去分析书面表达的要求,从而为接下来的写作任务理清头绪,明确目标。
Task 2: Groupwork
.Think about the topic and show the vocabularies and sentences. First let the students work in groups of four to get the key words. Teach the students how to get the key words and how to use effective sentences to complete a composition. Then according to them, ask students to write a short passage. Ask students to read aloud his or her own passage in front of the class.Give some comments if necessary.· Then ask the students to compare two passage.And ask them to add the beginning and the ending into their passages.
设计意图: 使用头脑风暴法(brainstorm)让学生给出关键词和句子模式,帮助学生更加顺利而且迅速地激活学生头脑中和写作话题My favorite season相关的东西,酝酿写作的思路。写出覆盖所有要点的短文。点评两篇学生习作,选自一位基础较好的同学和一位基础一般的同学的作文。教师根据上述提供的写作标准,详细点评两篇习作的篇章结构和句法功能。目的是使学生尽力领会教师对文章的点评,培养学生选词和用词的能力,指导学生多模仿好文章的优点。
Task 3: Analyze
?Show Ss a model essay . Read the passage fast and silently to find the general idea. Read the text carefully and silently to find the specific ideas. Analyze the difference of each paragraph.Give?the?students?a?few?minutes?to?discuss how?to?make?the passage?more?effective, then ask students to add some conj. into their own passage.
设计意图: 要求学生给自己的短文加入恰当的关联词,使行文更流畅,观点更明确,内容更条例。时间允许的话,让学生呈现修改后的短文。
Task 4: Check
Ask students to change their passages to their parter and check them each other. Let?the?students?try?to?find?out?as?many?mistakes?as?they?can. 设计意图: 最后需要学生对文章进行最后的检查和完善。检查时态是否正确、主谓是否一致、要点是否全面、人称是否正确、语序是否有问题、语言是否符合习惯、固定短语是否恰当等。在此基础上让学生树立写出满分作文的信心。
(三)Post-writing
Teach Ss how to write an outstanding passage.
Firstly ,it must be well arranged.
Secondly,you must write all the important points.
Thirdly,pay attention to using the suitable conjunctions.
Lastly,if you want to write an excellent passage,you should change the common words into the advanced vocabularies.And remember to use different clauses,such as object clause、attributive clause、adverbial clause and subject clause,ect.
