My topic today is taken from Unit 4 of Grade 7 .The main topic of this unit is “seasons”, and this Lesson is the sixth period of this unit—the writing part. The title is my favorite season. In this period, students will discuss which season they like best and the weather, activities, festivals or holidays, food of this season. They need to write down a composition about their favorite seasons.

(1) To speak out some words and phrases about four seasons.
(2) To learn to write a short article about their favorite seasons.

The students have learnt the new words and phrases in this unit. And they have learnt the reading-the four seasons. The students are familiar with the topic and interested in the topic. Many students are active and they can express their opinions correctly. But some students are poor in English and can’t speak out many correct sentences.
