教学方法

教学过程设计
Step Ⅰ.Warming-up(2分钟)
A quick-answer game, review the numbers and pay attention to the expression of decimal. 设计意图:激起学生学习兴趣;复习旧知识,为学习新知识做下铺垫。
Step Ⅱ. Presentation(12分钟)
1. (1:56-6:14)Show the pictures of the panda and the elephant. Give the information about these animals. Learn some new words and describe the animals using the information.设计意图:掌握新的单词,通过师生互动巩固比较级的运用,并为倍数的表达做铺垫。
2. (6:15-13:24)Compare facts about two animals. Consolidate the comparison and learn to express the multiple.设计意图:学习并练习用英语表达倍数。
Step Ⅲ. Practice(16分钟)
1. (13:25-16:11)Watching a video.设计意图: 吸引学生的注意力并为听力做准备。
2. (16:12-22:40)Listening.
Listen to the tape and finish 1b and 1c. 设计意图:提高学生的听力技能。
3. (22:41-25:40)Speaking.
Ask students to make a conversation with the partner to talk about the pandas with their own words. 设计意图:提高学生说的技能,并鼓励他们敢于表达自己的想法,及时进行情感教育。
4. (25:41-29:35)Reading and writing.
Imagine you are a keeper in the zoo. Say something to the visitors about pandas and elephants. Please compare facts about them.
Divide the students into 6 groups. Ask each group to choose a group leader to organise and make a report. 设计意图: 以学生为中心,置学生于语言环境交际之中,调动学生的参与热情,通过小组合作培养学生小组合作意识, 并提高学生说和写的能力.
