目的：引起学生的学习兴趣,了解大象熊猫等动物的外形特点为即将让学生运用多媒体课件上的大象熊猫的有关信息造句并运用比较级的句型进行对话作铺垫。

1a.Compare facts about these two animals.Use the language in the box to help you make sentences.
让各小组讨论，比较大象与熊猫的情况，用图片上的信息用比较级造句，然后由各小组同学分别发言，呈现比较级的句型，如:This elephant weighs many times more than this panda.
