Step 1: Lead-in
Show students a picture of Kongfu panda and play the song Kongfu Fighting
(Make a lead-in and can make students be interested in my class.)
Step 2: Show the title of this class to students. We’ll learn unit7 SectionB Reading.
T: Do you know the song that we’ve heard before? Do you know the panda?
Ss: It’s Kongfu Fighting and that panda is kongfu panda.
T: Do you like pandas?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, now I want to introduce my new friend Panpan to you.
Show a picture of a panda to students. Then show a conversation between Panpan and me.
(This conversation includes some information of pandas and students can learn some knowledge about
pandas. It also leads another five pictures for students.This can also help students understand the reading
Well.)
Step 3: Speaking
Show five pictures of cute pandas to students and ask students to describe pandas using the words on
PPT. The teacher will give a prize when the students do well.
(Practicing the students’ speaking skills and students may be excited by getting a prize.)
