在教材中的作用The present perfect tense is very important in this period. I will lead the student to be able to use this tense with the foundation of the past tense. This period is very important in this unit. So I think if the students can learn this lesson well, it will be helpful to make them learn the rest of this unit.

Play a short video about an isolated island then ask them related questions :

What can you see from this video?

What can you think of when you see an isolated island?

pre-reading

first ask student a question: If you are abandoned on the isolated island, what will you take to survive

( food, water, phone, clothes, book ,computer etc. )?

Then lead them to learn the new words about the passage.
