Teaching Process
Step1 Presentation
The teacher let the students watch a video about the rainstorm first, then look at other pictures to learn more information about the rainstorm .
Step2 Pre-reading:
Let the students predict what they can learn from the title and the picture.
Step 3 While-reading :
Skimming: Let the students read the passage quickly and match each paragraph with the meaning.
Scanning: Let the students read the passage quickly and answer the questions.
Specific reading:
Read paragraph 1and fill in the blanks and answer the questions;
Read paragraph 2 and fill in the blanks and answer the questions;
Read paragraph3 answer the questions;
Read paragraph 4 and complete the diagram,and answer the questions.
Step4 After-reading: Practice(3b)
