T: Ask “Where did I go on my last vocation.”
S: Did you go to …?
T: I went to Shanghai on my last vocation. There are many fun places in Shanghai. Have you ever been to these places? Let’s talk.
Purpose: English songs can create an atmosphere of learning English, and the conversation between Ss and the teacher can pave the way.
2. Presentation
⑴T: Well, I have been to many places. Have you ever been to a museum?
⑵Then show some p ictures of museums and introduce some words “space museum” “history museum” “art museum” “amusement park” as well as the sentence pattern “Have you ever been to a/an…?
Purpose: Using so me pictures to teach the key words is conducive to the students to remember the words intuitively vividly and lively, and increase the interest of students learning English, and practice the key sentence patterns, inspire students to think.
