The teacher asks the students:Where did you go on vacation?
What did you do?Students ask and answer with the teacher.
Step2.Presentation
lead students to talk about some beautiful places.Show some pictures
on the screen.Lead the new words in 1a.The students read the new words after the teacher.Then ask the students to read the new words.
Show the pictures of 1a.Ask students: “Which of these places would you like to visit?”Ask students to rank them from 1to6.
The teacher asks the students to look the picture again.What are the two girls talking about?Play the tape the first time,students listen carefully,play the tape again,ask the students to check the boxes in 1b.Correct the answers with the whole class.
Let students to act Claudia and Sarah in 1b.Get students to work in pairs to read the conversation:
