After Ss have finished filling in the blanks, invite a few Ss to read out each item with their answers. Have the rest of the class say if the answers are correct and explain why the answers are correct/incorrect.

4. While listening (Work on 1b, 1c)

（1）T: Now you’ll hear a conversation. Listen and answer the questions in 1b.

Have Ss read the questions first so that they understand wha t is expected to answer.

The teacher play the tape .and check the answers after they hear once because it is easy

（2）T: Listen again and try to fill in the chart in 1c.

Before Ss listen to the audio again, draw their attention to the chart and invite a few Ss to predict what is to be filled in the chart.
