Teaching procedures:
Step1 Greetings and revision
Greet the students as usual and revise all the other tenses they have learnt before.
Step2 Presentation
Present the new tense they are going to learn in this class----the present perfect tense.The teacher make some explanation of the first usage of the tense. Show the diagram to help them to better understand it.
Step3. Practice -----Task One
Show some translation exercise to them. They are asked to complete the sentences and think about what the true meaning they are expressing. The teacher can make some necessary explanation.
Step 4 Representation
Present the other usage of the present perfect tense by using some diagram to help them to better understand it.
Step 5 Practice----Task two
Students do some translating exercise to consolidate what they have learnt. Ask some individuals to do it and check the answers in the whole class.
Step6 Summary
The teacher makes a brief summary. The students just look and watch and take some notes if necessary.
Step7 Exercise
Do more exercise to see if they really master what they have learnt in this class.
Step8 Homework
Recite the past participle forms of the irregular verbs they have learnt.
Do more exercises about the different tenses to consolidate what they have learnt.
