2. Ask and answer questions to talk about students’ hometown
Step2 Pre-listening
1. Students finish activity 1a
2. Students make conversations using the target language.
3. Ask students to present their conversations.
Step3. While-listening
1.Listen to the tape for the first time, students finish 1b, then check the answer the answers. (read the questions before listening)
2.Listen for the second time and finish 1c.
3. Check the answers and explain some difficult sentences.
4. Students read the conversation together then role play the conversation.
Step 4. Post-listening
Talk about jenny’s hometown with the chart in 1c.
Talk about your town/ city with your partner. 1d
Students work in pairs and then present their conversation.

Write a passage about your town or city.
