Step1 Warming up

1.Enjoy a poem“Nostalgia” by Yu Guanzhong.

2. Try to make students feel a strong hometown feelings from the writer.

Step2 Free Talk

1. Show four pictures about our hometown—Chisha

2. Let students talk about our hometown .

Step3 Group work

Ask：Why do millions of Chinese leave the countryside every year?

Write hometown feelings according to my tips.

Step4 Presentation

Listen to the tape about this article “Hometown Feeling”.

Give them two minutes to test their spelling.

Step5 Study

Ask students to read each paragraph .Then have them answer four questions according the article.

The teacher shows some pictures about the school and the old trees

Step6 Consolidation

Exercise. T or F

Find expressions n the passage that have the same meanings as these words.

Step6 Summary

Give a short summary about hometown feelings.

Enjoy a song to end this class.
