教学过程:
Step1. Warming up
Lead the students look at the pictures on the screen and talk about what kinds of movies they are.
(sad movie/tragedy; comedy; documentary; action movie)
Let the students look at the pictures and flash, then talk about how they feel about them.
[This part is designed to review the kinds of movie and lead to the target language “make sb.+ verb./adjective]
Step 2. Speaking
1. Let the students talk about how loud music makes them feel according to the sample sentence and pictures on the screen.
2. Have the students look at the pictures of expression downloaded from the Internet and discuss what adjective can be used to describe each of them(The answer may be more than one).
[This part is designed to consolidate some adjectives about feelings and practice the target language “make sb.+ verb./adjective]
Step 3. Presentation
1. Lead the students to look at the pictures in 1a and then, have them talk about what they can see in the picture.
2. Ask one or two students to give their answers.
3. Give the background information “ Amy and Tina are going to have lunch and they are talking about which restaurant they’d rather go to”. Then let the students predict at first and give their reason.
[This part is designed to practice the students to express their own opinions in English.]
Step 4. Listening to 1b
1. Let the students know what they should do in this part.
2. Play the recording and ask the students to fill in the blanks according to what they heard.
