Step1. Revision
1.Review Section A(1a-1c).Show some PPT pictures to review different customs in different countries. Get students to read out their conversations using the target language in Section A.
2.Review Section A(2a-3b).Show some video pictures to students .Ask and answer with students about them.
Step2. 1a
1.Look at the picture and ask students to say what is happening in it. (A family is eating a meal.)
Look at the title: Mind your manners!
T: Read the instructions and point to the five statements about manners. Ask students to read the statements and then circle T or F.
Review the five statements to be sure students understand what each one means. Then ask students to complete the quiz on their own.
Correct the answers with the class.
Step3.Pair work.
Ask students to talk about the customs in different situations.
Step4.1b-1c
Play the recording the first time.Students only listen.
Play the recording a second time. As they listen to the recording this time, let students number the pictures.
