第一环节:
导入:通过老师问:“Do you like music?”What kind of music do you like?”
学生答“Yes,I like soft /light/classical/rock music.”老师答“I prefer music that I can dance to. I like music that I can sing along with.I like music that has great lirics.”从而引出含有定语从句的句子,让同学们加以辨识。又由播放周杰伦的演唱视频引出两个简单句“The man is Zhoujielun. The man is singing the song.”先引导学生用汉语把两个句子合二为一再用英语合成一个句子“The man who is singsing the song is Zhoujielun.”由此让学生学会把两个谈论同一人或事物的句子合二为一就成了定语从句。
?第二环节:用多媒体呈现例句:
She is the girl who called me five times yesterday.
She is the girl whom I called yesterday.
I like the dog which likes to play hide and seek with me.
学习引导词、先行词的概念进而学习定语从句的概念,及引导词who﹨whom﹨which的用法总结:是人就用 who ,宾语可用 whom
非人用 which ,that 都可以(仅限本节课内容)
who/that在定语从句中做主语时,谓语动词的单复数应与先行词保持一致。再由多媒体出示例句:
I'll never forget the day when we got married.
I like the place where I was born.
Is that the reason why you didn't come to my birthday party.
This is the girl whose mother is a pilot.了解到时间用when 地点用where 原因用why 谁的用whose
再由I like the place where I was born.
I like the place which is beautiful.
I'll never forget the day when we got married.
October 1,1949 is the day which we'll never forget.
这样的句子让学生们仔细观察找相同和不同之处,从而了解到当先行词是时间名词时何时用when何时用which.当先行词是地点名词时何时用where何时用which等的区别。
第三环节:利用所学的有关定语从句的知识进行巩固练习,用多媒体呈现习题。
