三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Lead-in and explain the learning goals
Firstly ,to master some words and expressions ,like whose,truck,attend and so on.
Secondly,to learn to express inference with some model verbs ,such as must,can’t ,might and could.
Thirdly,I hope through this lesson ,you will learn to value your own things well.
Ⅱ. Presentation
1.Present some pictures about the new words, then the students speak out the Chinese.
2.Read after the teacher with three times each word.
3.Work on 1a
(1). Look at the chart in 1a, then discuss with your group mates. Try to fill in the chart with words to describe people.
(2). Let some Ss say their answers. Let other Ss add more.

Ⅲ. Listening
a.Work on 1b
1. T: We have known that the volleyball must be Carla’s, what about other things ,like jacket and T-shirt. Let’s find the answers in 1b .
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen.
3. Ss listen and try to match the each person with a thing and a reason.
4. Check the answers.
