Show them only a part of a picture, and make them think what he/she might be doing
Step 2 Presentation
Present the new words’ pictures to arose their interests, after that, teach them how to pronounce and use them.
Finish 1a: look at the pictures on the books, then use the words in the box to write a sentence about each picture.
Step3. Practice
1.Finish 1b: listen and number the pictures
2.Before listening to 1c, preview first, and then finish 1c, but fill the blanks of what the woman says secondly.
Step4. Production
Ask the students to close their books and how much they remember about who said what, competing which team has the best memory. And repeat the sentences together.
Listen to the material the third time by looking at the material in the back of the book while underlining the key sentences.
Finish 1d: role-play the conversation between the woman and the man.
Step5. Progress
Show some more pictures of sb. doing sth. And make a small conversation like the sample in 1d.
Do some more exercise.
Ask them to guess what their families might be doing at home now, and then write them down as their homework.
Make a summary about what have they have learnt from this lesson.
