Teaching precedures

Step 1: Lead in.

Greet the class and show them a piece of song. And then ask students:“What kind of music do you like?”

Step 2: Prentation.(1a)

(1) Discuss “What kind of music do you like?” Then Add more adjectives.

I like music that is loud/quiet/exciting/_______________.

I love music that can make me happy/_______________.

I prefer music that has great/_______________lyrics.

(2) Discuss “What kind of singer/musicians do you like?”

I prefer the singer who is handsome/looks cool/____________.

I like musicians who sing clearly/ play different kinds of music/__________.

Step3: Chain drills.(1b&1c)

Let students make a conversation to talk about their favorite music and musicians one by one.

A: What kind of music/musicians do you like?

B: I like music that______./ I like musicians who____. What about you?

C: I prefer music that______./ I prefer musicians who____.And you?

D: ... ... E: ... ...
