Step 1 Leading In
1、Listen to an English song named Do-Re-Mi.
2、T Show Ss some pictures about different kinds of movies and ask :Can you tell me the kind of the movie ? What kind of movies do you like? Why?
Ss look at the pictures in the big screen and answer T’s questions.
设计意图:一首英文歌把学生融入了英语学习的氛围,以学生们喜欢的音乐,电影为切入点,图文并茂地引入本课的话题同时复习了定语从句,为本节课的教学做铺垫。
Step 2 Reading
Pre-reading
(1) Show some new words on screen and explain some words .Ss read words after T , then read and try to remember them by themselves .
(2)According to the picture and new words, ask Ss guess the main content of the article .
设计意图:新单词的学习扫清了阅读的障碍,以旧带新起到了承上启下的作用,通过图文并茂的方式激活学生头脑中的背景知识,预测文中将要涉及的内容。
2. While Reading
(1)Tell Ss to read the article quickly ,then underline the different kinds of movies and circle the movie names.
Fill in the chart. List the different kinds of movies and the movie names.
