Step 1. Greeting .
Step 2. Lead –in.
Teacher plays a video to lead in , then free talk with a student about the video, get students interested in it. Introduce the language goals and learning important points .
Step 3. Preparation
(1) Show a picture of a watch to Ss, ask like this :
T: Can you guess whose watch this is ?
Ss: It could be …’s.
Show the picture of the owner
T: Look, it must belong to …
(2) Lead the new content in.
Step 4. Presentation
(1) Present 1a-1c.
look at the pictures in 1a, lead Ss to summarize and classify all the words.
Listen to tape and finish 1b. Lead Ss to make conversations using the information in1b . Work in pairs in 1c, then act out .
(2) Present 2a-2c.
T: Bob and Anna found a schoolbag at the park. Listen and write down the things in the schoolbag . Check the answers in 2a-2b. Explain the key points, lead Ss to summarize the usage of modal verbs, writing on the blackboard. Work in pairs in 2c, then act out .

1) Listen and answer questions without opening the books .
