Teaching Procedures
Step1:lead-in
Enjoy a video: “You raise me up” and do some stretch together.
设计意图:通过观看并一起做动作,让学生进入一个英语的环境。
Step2: Free talk.
Show Ss some pictures and then ask them to talk about:
1. Do you like English?
2. How do you study English?
设计意图:通过问答,导入话题,激起学生已有的学习经验,为下一步谈论英语学习方法和策略作铺垫。
Step3: Show some pictures about many ways of studying English and work on 1a.
设计意图:利用图片学习更多的学习方法,这样学生在进行口语活动时的视野就能更开阔,同样也就更有话可说,这样有利于促成口语小对话的自然开展。
Step4: Game time.
Making a phone call
设计意图:通过这项游戏,让学生同时练习听、说,并掌握目标语言。
Step5: Make a survey.
Ask Ss to survey at least three new friends how does he or she study for a test by making a conversation. And then give a report in class
E.g.:
A: How do you study for a test?
B: I study by working with a group.
设计意图:这项活动是对1c内容进行延伸,引导学生运用合作学习法进行初步的语言实践,鼓励学生大胆开口,学了就说,培养学生运用目标语言进行交际的能力。
Step6: Listening to 1b.
Listen and answer the questions with the proper letters from 1a.

Step7: Listening to 2a &2b
Before listening,
1. Let students find out the new words: conversation, pronunciation and ask partners for help.
