Step1:Revise Class1
Hello, students. Yesterday we learned something about traditional festivals. Who can tell me what they are?

No.2 The Dragon Boat Festival in HongKong
No.3 The Spring Festival
No.4 The Lantern Festival
Step2 Leading-in
Ask the students to enjoy a famous?明月几时有?,the students can guess what we are going to learn-the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Step3 Open your books ,turn to page157,let’s learn the new words together.
Step4 Learn the passage by explaining the useful language points:
i.full adj. be full of
ii.for centuries
iii.have/has been doing something
have/has v-ed
iv.in the shape of
v.plan to do something
vi.steal something from somebody
vii.refuse to do something
viii.so...that
Step5 Ask the students to read the passage and make a dialogue according to the story.
Step6 Ask some students to act out the dialogue in the front of the classroom.
Step7 Ask them to read the story again and finish 3b and 3c.

Read the story again and again and repeat it with your own words tomorrow.
