According to the conversation in 1a, get the students to make dialogues. For example:

A: Excuse me, could you please tell me how to get to…?

B: Sure. Go along… until you pass… … is on your right/left. …

A: Thanks. Do you know when… opens/closes today?

B: It opens/closes at… today.

Step 5 Listening (2a-2b)

1. Warmup.?

T: Two boys are talking. Do you know what they are talking about?

S1: I think they're talking about the places in the picture.

T: Can you guess where they would like to go?

S2: Maybe the bookstore.

2. Listen and number the directions in 2a in the order you hear them.?
