Step 1 Warm up
Play a game “listeners”
T: I’ll tell the first one of some group a sentence. Remember the sentence and then pass on the sentence to the one behind you. Then report what you heard.
Step 2 Lead in
Get to know about the object clause. And help student to draw out the definition of it.
Step 3 Presentation
1. Talk about the following sentences in groups of four. Think about what we should pay attention to object clause: 语序、时态、引导词。
(1)宾语从句的引导词:that;if/weather; wh-特殊疑问词.
(2)宾语从句的时态
当主句是现在的某种时态时,从句根据需要可以用任何时态;当主句是过去的某种时态时,从句要用过去的某种时态;但当从句是客观事实或真理时或虚拟语气时,从句需用一般现在时。
(3) 从句的语序
宾语从句必须用陈述句语序其结构为:连接词+主语+谓语+宾语/其它
