教学过程

Step 1. Revision

复习上课时单词和used to 结构。

跟读单词、检查学生拼读情况;

复习used to 的肯定句式、否定句式和疑问句式。

1)He use to play the guitar

2)He didn’t use to play the guitar.

3)-Did he use to play the guitar?

-Yes,he did./No,he didn’t.

4)This kind of wood is used to make paper. ( be used to do sth. 被用来做…… )

5)He is used to getting up early . ( be used to doing sth. 习惯于做某事)

Step 2.Listening

Work on 2a、2b:

T: Paula has changed a lot in the past few years. Do you want to know what she used to be like?

Look at the words in 2a. Let all Ss read the words aloud. Make sure all Ss know the meaning of the words.
