1.Have a student read the sentences in the grammar box to the class and circle the words: used to…, didn’t use to…,Did …use to…? Didn’t you?

2.Read the sentences with “used to be” underlined.

3.Explanations about “used to + 动词原形”

Step 4 Explanations

1.Call students’ attention to the notes below, and ask students to understand the rules in these sentences.

When we write statements , we use the words used to.

When we write questions, we use the words did+use to.
