2.过程与方法:

学习过程中将采用预测,听力口语信息转换,观看视频等多种学习策略以及使用希沃白板的交互功能,来开展pairwork和groupwork,使学生广泛参与,活跃课堂,真正能够培养他们的语言能力和思维品质。

3.情感态度价值观目标:

通过学习使学生能够运用得体的语言描述人物行为习惯,爱好的变化,并进行今昔对比。

让学生明白事物是在不断变化发展的,人是在不断变化的,培养他们积极向上的态度和对父母的理解与爱。

课时教学重点、难点:

能够通过听力口语训练,提高学生听说能力,

能正确使用used to结构描述或询问人物过去的行为习惯、爱好特点,并进行今昔对比。

六、教学过程:

Step 1: Greeting and leading-in

Greet the class as usual

Show the topic of this lesson to the students and make sure they can know what they will learn in this lesson.

Show a video to the students and ask some questions after watching it.

e.g. — Do you know the children in the video?

— Who are they? Try to tell their names.

Do you think they have changed a lot in appearance?

What did they use to look like?

【设计意图】:导入环节使用的视频,是用本班同学们小时候的照片做的,并配以英文版“童年”这首歌曲,旨在让孩子们在美好的歌声中感受时光飞逝带给他们容貌上的变化。因为是身边伙伴们小时候的照片,会给他们带来强烈的亲切感和兴奋性,很快就能投入到课堂中来。并对他们即将要回答的问题产生浓厚的兴趣。同时引入“used to”句型。

Step 2: Talk about the things they used to like when they were a child.

Show some pictures to the students and ask some of them questions, make sure they can use “used to” structure freely and correctly. Meanwhile they will learn two new words: “ant and insect”

Questions: Did you use to like… when you were a child?

What did you used to like when you were a child?

Task 1: Groupwork

Write down other things you used to like and discuss them with their group members. And then the group leader will make a report about the information.

【设计意图】:通过图片和问题结合来学习本课时的重点句型“used to”和两个新词汇,同时在问答的过程中使学生明确其一般疑问句式和特殊疑问句式的正确使用。然后通过小组活动在全班范围内进行练习,由组长收集组员信息,为下一步口语拓展练习做出信息准备。

Oral work(口语和听力拓展练习)

All the students should listen to the leaders’ report and then get the information, and try to talk about their information in pairs.
