Step3:Learn new words
If Ss want to go on learning ,they must learn words well first; so the words is the base. In this part i will use multimedia .
1. Present the new words on the big screen and learn the new words together.
2. Ss read and try to remember the new words. Try to read the new words one by one .
3.play a game to check if the Ss can remember the new words
Step4:
Discussion.
Show Ss some comparing pictures and ask them to talk about pictures by using “used to” and “now”
Step5:Free Talk.
Show Ss some pictures and ask Ss about:
Did they use to like this when being a child?
Write down and discuss other things they used to do.
Step6: Activity 1c.
Listen and complete the learning challenges he talks about.
Step7: Activity 1d.
Listen again. Talk about what do the girl and the boy say about things in the past and now and fill in the chart. Free talk.
Step8:Free talk
Let Ss suppose to be a Grade 9 student, and talk about the
life’s differences from before.
