Ⅲ Teaching Procedures
1. Lead in (话题解读)
Say something about the topic, such as the importance of the topic
2. Warm –Up
Ask Ss to describe his or her partner using the concerned words and description.
3. Presentation
1) Show Ss an example to help them to make sense that what they should write and how they should write.
(1) the structure (2) the tense (3) the main person in the article
2) The first writing skill : Teach Ss how to turn simple sentences into composite sentences.
Then give Ss two examples to practice.
3) The second writing skill: Teach Ss how to turn short sentences into longer sentences.
Then give Ss two examples to practice. And ask three Ss to give their answers on the blackboard.
4) The third writing skill (key and difficult point ): Teach Ss how to learn something useful from the model article and how to imitate the article to write their own ones.
5) Ask Ss to write their own part of the article by imitating the given one.
6) Learn something useful from the last paragraph.
Ⅳ Summary
Sum up what we have learnt during the class.
