正确区分be made of和be made from。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Warming up（热身）

2、Free Talk

T: What date is it today?

Ss: It’s ....

T: It’s my birthday today.(现场用一张纸做出一顶生日帽，并戴在头上。）

T：Paper is used to make a hat. What is used to make paper?

设计意图：通过提问纸是什么材料做成的引入要谈论的话题。

Ⅱ. Lead in(导入)

Watch a short video Papermaking Technology，talk about some materials and learn the new words.

设计意图：播放动画片《造纸过程》的视频，让学生们了解这个中国传统发明的情况。

Ⅲ. Presentation（呈现）

Show some pictures and teach the new words.

T：How many materials do you know?

Ss：They’re....

设计意图：通过图片教学生词，直观、生动，易引起学生的注意与兴趣。

Put the word cards to the right pictures.

设计意图：考一考学生对单词的掌握。

Let Ss read the things and materials in 1a. Discuss with their partners and match them with the materials. More than one answer is possible.

设计意图：通过连线匹配，让学生回答。这有利于学生掌握be made of这个短语的用法。

Guessing my present，learn the target language Sth +be made in +产地.
