Step I . Greeting and Lead-in
Before the class, T plays the ppts of a museum and shows some traditional art forms in it.
T: “Hello, everyone.Welcome to the art museum. I’m your tour guide. I will show you around it .In the museum , we can learn more about Chinese traditional art forms.
(Show the pictures and music,lead Ss to visit the museum.At the same time, Ss can know more about Chinese traditional art.)
StepII.Reading
Before-you-read: T “But before visiting, let’s turn to Page 38 and read the introduction in Para 1.” Then try to answer the question “What do Chinese traditional art forms try to show?”
Ss read aloud and find out the answer. ( They try to show the things that are important in life such as love, beauty and family.)
Then the teacher shows three traditional art forms on ppt and try to introduce them to Ss with “be used for”and “be made of ”
