I. Greet to the class.
II. Review
Show some pictures, ask students some questions. Let students review some phrases and sentences about “be made of” or” be made from”.
III. Discussion.
Talk about some special things that your city is famous for. Give students some pictures about Suzhou and Suzhou’s silk quilts. Ask students some questions .Eg: What’s Suzhou famous for? What are they made of? What can they do? Where were they made? Why are they special? and so on.
IV. Writing.
Work on 3a.
What are some special things that your city is famous for? These can be food, artwork or any other products. Discuss them with a partner and take notes. Then fill in the form.
Work on 3b
Write a paragraph about the product. Use your notes in 3a.

Guide: Let students use the passive voice to write the passage. Also use the present tense.
Let students write down the passage on the paper by themselves. Walk around the class. If necessary, give them some help.
