Teaching procedure:
Step 1 : Lead in
Show some pictures about read packets to encourage students to answer questions.
Show some pictures about “Beauty in common things” to review and others traditional Chinese things , ask students to say something about them to lead into 3a .
Step 2 : Presentation
1. Explain the questions in 3a and the whole class read them together.
2. Give an example about lantern , according to 3a, ask the students to make conversations, invite two groups to have a show.
