四、教学过程
Step1: Warming up?
1. The teacher gives some pictures of inventions and inventors to the students and ask:
T: Do you know what these inventions are? What’s this in English?(show a picture of telephone to the students.)
Ss: It’s a telephone.
T; And what’s this in English?(show the picture of car to the students.)
Ss: It’s a car .
T: What’s this?(show the picture of television to the students.)
Ss: It’s a television
T: Good . these are all famous inventions. And do you know who invented them ?Now let’s look at some inventors .Do you know who these inventors are? (show some famous inventors to the students: Karl Benz, Alexander Bell, J. L. Baird .)
Ss: We don’t know.
T: He is Karl Benz. Read after me Karl Benz
Ss: Karl Benz
Show the other invertors like this.
T: We have learnt some inventions and some inventors. Can you match them?(show all the inventions and all inventors that have learnt to the students.)And ask the students to try to match them.
T: Karl Benz invented…
Ss: Karl Benz invented the first car.
Ask students to answer the other invented with the inventions like this.
