读之前引导学生划分文章段落,从整体上把握文章内容;让学生善于观察利用课文中出现的图片信息,并引导学生了解学习inferring 这一阅读策略。Step 2 SkimmingAsk students to read paragraph one and answer the questions.
(1) What are the common things for Christmas ?

让学生找出圣诞节的象征和真谛。Step 3 Scanning
Ask students to read Part Two and match the main ideas with each paragraph.

引导学生运用 inferring 对文章人物性格进行推测,让学生感受inferring的使用。
通过此环节引导学生进一步了解故事的内容,为下文Scrooge 的转变打下伏笔。虽然简单,但需要学生快速阅读锻炼了学生的阅读技能。
让学生通过填表找出斯克鲁奇遇到三种灵魂时的情景并推断出斯克鲁奇会发生怎样的变化。
